El horizonte de KEOPS – Una expedición por el antiguo Egipto
After its run in Paris in June 2022 and its presentations in London, New York, Sydney, Lisbon, and Shanghai arrives in Buenos Aires “The Horizon of Khufu”, the new Augmented Reality experience, can be visited until February 1st in the Frers Pavilion of La Rural.
The experience, designed in collaboration with Egyptology professors from Harvard University, proposes a new format that combines culture and interactive entertainment with historiographical and architectural knowledge of Ancient Egypt.
“The Horizon of Khufu” invites visitors, through the use of augmented reality headsets, to discover and explore this great monument, including the exploration of spaces that are usually inaccessible to the tourist public in Egypt.
In addition, this experience is specially designed for participants of all ages to become physically and emotionally involved with one of the most important civilizations in history.
The tour includes a flyover of the Giza Plateau, an effortless ascent to the top of the Pyramid of Khufu – which allows you to enjoy an impressive 360° panorama – the exploration of the corridors and burial chambers of the Great Pyramid during the embalming ceremony, a journey through the chambers of his queen, and finally, a boat trip along the Nile River to attend the funeral of Khufu himself.
