RTVE selected SOLD OUT as the delegate producer for the two most important Latin Grammy 2023 events: The Main Show and The Red Carpet, the two most important events and the only ones that were televised to a potential audience of 10 million viewers.

The 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards were held on November 16, 2023, at the Fibes Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Spain. An event that recognized the best of Latin music this year and marked a milestone as the first time it has been held outside the United States.

The Gala was hosted by Paz Vega, Sebastián Yatra, Danna Paola, and Roselyn Sánchez. Rosalía was in charge of opening the awards ceremony with Rocío Jurado’s version of Se nos rompió el amor.

Ozuna took over and invited David Guetta to join his performance. A high-flying start to a show that would not disappoint for the next three hours. Shakira, Carín León, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz and his Corazón Partío, Sebastián Yatra with his Energía Bacana, Baby Hello by Juanes and Rauw Alejandro, Pablo Alborán and Maria Becerra… all took to the stage. No one wanted to miss such a special event.

Shakira, Karol G, and Natalia Lafourcade were the most awarded performers by the organization, with three awards each.

Bizarrap and Shakira’s ‘Session 53’ has become the ‘Best Song of the Year’ and the ‘Best Pop Song’. Karol G has also received awards for her album ‘Mañana será bonito’, the ‘Best Album of the Year’ and the best in ‘Urban Music’.

Seville will never forget this date when it became the epicenter of Latin music.

      The iconic rock band Green Day headlined the MTV World Stage Seville, the event that closed the #MTVMusicWeek in Plaza de España on Saturday, November 2nd.

      The concert prior to the MTV EMAs Seville 2019, which was broadcast live on MTV Spain on Sunday, November 3rd, starting at 8:00 PM from FIBES – Conference and Exhibition Centre of Seville, featured a live performance by Green Day.

      Trueno, one of the most influential figures in rap and urban music in Spanish, will perform at the Sala Multiusos of the Zaragoza Auditorium next Thursday, July 3rd. With a meteoric rise in the industry, the Argentine artist has established himself as an international benchmark in the genre.

      In 2022, at just 20 years old, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy for his hit “Dance Crip.” That same year, he released his second studio album, featuring collaborations with top artists such as J Balvin, Duki, and Nathy Peluso.

      Expo Universal OSAKA 2025 – Spain Pavilion

      Sold Out won the public tender and secured the comprehensive production services for the cultural, corporate, and institutional events of the Spanish Pavilion at the Osaka 2025 Universal Exposition.

      Expo Osaka 2025 was held in Yumeshima (Osaka, Japan) from April 13 to October 13, 2025, under the slogan “Designing the future society for our lives”.

      The Spanish Pavilion stood out for:

      • Being inspired by “The Kuroshio Current”, a powerful Pacific ocean current that historically connected Japan with Spanish transoceanic routes such as the Manila Galleon.
      • Transmitting values of sustainability, blue economy, cultural exchange, and connections between Spain and Japan.
      • Offering an immersive experience for visitors, exploring the natural and coastal diversity of Spain with content on marine biodiversity, innovation, and climate change.

      The architectural and scenic design of the pavilion was the work of the Spanish studios Extudio, Enorme Studio, and Smart & Green Design, winners of a public competition organized by AC/E, under criteria of sustainability and circularity.

      The Spanish pavilion received more than 3.5 million visitors between April 13 and October 13, greatly exceeding initial forecasts.

      Faces such as Prince William of Luxembourg, the governor of Osaka Hirofumi Yoshimura, and Princess Takamado passed through the pavilion. Other Spanish figures such as Salvador Illa, Jordi Hereu, and the regional presidents of Andalusia, Extremadura, and Castilla-La Mancha also visited the pavilion.

      Considered the father of European comics, Hergé’s creative genius has opened decisive paths for the 9th art, and his influence is still visible in the world of contemporary comics. He is not only the master of the “clear line” and the creator of Tintin but also a multi-talented artist: graphic designer, publicist, screenwriter, and painter. Recognized as one of the great artists of the 20th century, Hergé is a universal creator whose works are entirely relevant today. With more than 250 million copies sold worldwide, his work has been translated into a hundred languages.

      JAPAN Art and Manga is an exhibition that traces the history of manga from its historical origins to the present day, revealing the close relationship between modern manga and traditional Japanese art, and highlighting the enormous artistic impact that manga has worldwide.

      Through 10 different thematic areas, JAPAN Art and Manga presents a collection with more than 200 objects and works of art that help us understand the different aspects and stages in the development of this exceptional art.

      ‘The Art of Manga’ will illustrate the historical importance of scrolls such as “Choju giga” (12th century), primitive beginnings of manga, and the “Manga Hokusai” from the Edo period, as the most direct root of manga.

      You can also see the influence of Japanese woodblock printing on the way stories are told in manga, the development of children’s manga and the history of Kamishibai (paper theater), the creative and collaborative process of manga artists, the evolution of manga for teenagers, the emergence of Gekiga or “dramatic image” and the impact of the media on the growth of manga in the 20th century.

      The exhibition will also pay tribute to pioneering mangakas such as Osamu Tezuka, known in Japan as “the god of manga” and Shigeru Mizuki, an artist known for popularizing Yokai themes and style, based on creatures belonging to Japanese folklore.

      Since its world premiere in Chicago, the exhibition has received more than 4 million visitors and has traveled through Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Paris, Shanghai, Brussels, and the Netherlands.

      In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Global Experience Specialists (GES) designed this experiential exhibition of over 1,400 square meters, where visitors could admire hundreds of objects and artifacts used in the Harry Potter films firsthand, enjoy the sets inspired by the filmography’s scenery, and be amazed by the incredible manual and artistic work hidden behind the costumes, props, and original fantastic creatures from the films.

      The exhibition included some of the most popular locations from the films, including the GryffindorTM common room and dormitory, classrooms such as Potions or Herbology, and the Forbidden Forest.

      In turn, these scenarios presented thousands of props, costumes, and fantastic creatures that were used during the filming of the iconic saga8.

      The exhibition traced the influences of Enzo Ferrari and Ayrton Senna, as well as the huge impact of the Netflix series “Drive to Survive.” It also combined the best interactive and immersive technologies, never-before-seen interviews, historic race cars, other artifacts, and large-scale installations.

      The “Bowie Taken by Duffy” exhibition showcased the work of British photographer Brian Duffy in collaboration with iconic musician David Bowie, one of the most influential artists in music history. Over a 9-year period, known as Bowie’s “Golden Years,” Duffy and Bowie collaborated on 5 photo shoots and 3 album covers that left an indelible mark on visual and musical culture.

      The exhibition offered visitors the opportunity to view vintage prints and original objects from the Duffy Archive, along with previously unreleased video interviews with David Bowie’s collaborators during the sessions. Through this exhibition, attendees were able to take a trip back to the 1970s and explore the creative process of these two exceptional artists.

      The exhibition opened on March 15, 2023, and concluded on July 23 of the same year at the COAM in Madrid, providing fans with a unique experience to appreciate the artistic collaboration between Duffy and Bowie.

      Between August 1972 and April 1980, Brian Duffy and David Bowie worked together on five photo sessions. These sessions produced the images that we immediately associate with the albums Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, The Thin White Duke, Lodger and Scary Monsters, visual dramatizations that illuminate the history of pop culture.

      Five occasions in which, while the tireless Bowie jumped from one character to another, always addicted to trying different things, the equally tireless Brian Duffy was there to take the photographs that would bear witness to all these transformations. Duffy became a trusted conspirator at a time when Bowie was experimenting with pop stardom, capturing the essence of his era and capturing the ever-changing footprints of his legend.

      Bowie sought attention, and Duffy knew how to provide it in the most effective way possible. He carefully observed a David Bowie who was clearly there to be observed. He observed him consciously, calibrated him, assimilated him, studied him, chatted with him, became his shadow, advised him, interpreted him, and, in his own way, protected him. And finally, he captured his ideas in photographs of Bowie capable of stopping time and letting it fly at the same time.

      Duffy got as close as he could to David Bowie on these five occasions, until he had seen enough. Thanks to his images, the rest of us mortals can also get closer to the myth and observe it with our own eyes.

      The visit begins with a trip aboard the ferry that takes you to Isla Nublar, where visitors will pass through the iconic gates of Jurassic World to get as close as possible to the gigantic dinosaurs, some of which are more than 7 meters tall.

      There, they will discover the Gentle Giants Petting Zoo; visit the Hammond Creation Lab, admire the majesty of a Brachiosaurus, come face to face with a Velociraptor, and get to see up close the most dangerous dinosaur of them all, the Tyrannosaurus-Rex.

      Created in close collaboration with renowned paleontologist Jack Horner, the exhibition is rich in interactive educational content, inspired by the real science that studies dinosaur DNA, thanks to which Jurassic World comes to life. Visitors of all ages can now learn all about these incredible prehistoric creatures.

      Madrid will be the fifth city in the world, and the second European city where this exhibition can be seen, and it will be the only Spanish city within the international tour.

The exhibition offers insight into how Marvel has both reflected and inspired trends in popular culture over time, addressing important issues such as gender, race, and mental health. It also pays tribute to pioneers such as Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko, whose talent transformed Marvel into the vast fictional universes we know today.

      The visual environment of the exhibition will be complemented by an immersive soundtrack created by Lorne Balfe, a renowned British composer known for his work on films such as “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Black Widow,” and “Ad Astra.”

      The exhibition has been organized by a team of comic book experts, including Benjamin Saunders, Matthew J. Smith, and Randy Duncan, leading scholars in the field.       Max Ernst: Surrealism, Art, and Cinema at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid offers a unique journey through the life and career of Max Ernst, combining pieces in different media: paintings, sculptures, collages, frottages, illustrated books, and photographs, all selected for their connections to the seventh art. An innovative and unprecedented approach to the work of the famous German surrealist artist.

      Produced by Sold Out and the Círculo de Bellas Artes in collaboration with Madeinart, and curated by Martina Mazzotta and Jürgen Pech, the exhibition reveals the most relevant aspects of Max Ernst’s life and work in relation to cinema. In fact, filmmaking represents a parallel and ever-present path in the artist’s extensive career, which connected many people and artistic groups and offered original perspectives throughout seven decades of the 20th century, greatly enjoying experimentation.

      This is the first time that an exhibition on Max Ernst has been presented with this particular focus, as a result of unprecedented research.

      The children’s version of Europe’s most important music festival will be held in Madrid for the first time in its history, and Sold Out will once again work hand in hand with the team from Radiotelevisión Española and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) on the production of what we expect to be a historic edition.

      With an unprecedented media presence, the 22nd edition of Junior Eurovision will be held at the Caja Mágica on November 16, 2024, and will be broadcast on RTVE’s La 1 channel and on various online platforms such as RTVE.es and YouTube, via the official Eurovision channel.

      Eurovision 2024 will be hosted by singer Ruth Lorenzo, who represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. The Murcia native will be accompanied by actor Marc Clotet and Melani García, who also represented Spain at Junior Eurovision 2019, who will be in charge of interviewing the delegations from all countries in the Green Room.

      As for our representative, Chloe DeLaRosa will be taking over from Sandra Valero. With a mix of Andalusian and Extremaduran roots, she defines herself as a “cantista”—a singer and artist—and will try to take Spain to the top of the contest. The song has yet to be revealed, but will be announced in the coming days.

      Seventeen countries will participate in this new and unique edition, in which we hope Spain will take home the little crystal microphone.

      Alice in Wonderland began as a story told to Alice, a ten-year-old girl, and her two sisters during a river excursion by a shy Victorian mathematician who called himself Lewis Carroll. Later, Carroll wrote the story and had John Tenniel illustrate it. More than 150 years later, many children (and adults) around the world know Alice and her adventures as well as if they had dreamed them themselves.

      The “real Alice” moved Lewis Carroll to write his fantastic tale of underground adventures for her when she was only ten years old. That little story, starring Alice herself as a sensible girl in an absurd universe, is a world full of fantasy and fun. It is not surprising that it is the inspiration for the new show created by Moses Pendleton. Because he is also a creator of worlds that resemble dreams and that are often populated by strange and whimsical presences.

      Born in 1950 in the small Russian city of Novosil, Slava Polunin is a living legend of clowning. Recognized and loved in his country since the 70s for founding the Licedei clown theater, he has become a highly respected cultural icon throughout the world. A tireless pioneer in the creation of theatrical and street productions, he has been the architect of a multitude of international festivals, combining dozens of companies and experimenting with films, books, gardens, and all kinds of projects.

      His theater is characterized by feeding the factories of dreams and fairy tales. He has developed and mastered the metaphysical art with mastery, delving into tragicomedy to make understand to what extent drama can be combined with laughter. It captivates a modern audience accustomed to crazy rhythms, in an inexhaustible kaleidoscope of colors, sounds, spaces, and times.
